First Blending Party

McNab Ridge invited us to their holiday blending party on Saturday, October 2.  It was just a bunch of fun, most of it in watching how the different teams approached the process of creating a unique wine blend with the 7 wines offered.

Some just splashed a little of this and a little of that in a glass and then shared it all around.  Some measured carefully, stirred equally carefully and then poured measured servings for the team members.  And most measured and stirred, or not, and then enjoyed the wine.

After the blending, there was a beautiful buffet of ribs, chicken, potato salad, Caesar salad and a gourmet brownie treat.  The finale was a trivia game on the movies with some lively competition.  It was a very fun day.
