Tulip Hill Winery & May

May 23, 2011 by

Amidst sadness at the loss of Budge Brown, founder of Tulip Hill winery, it was a beautiful Spring Day on Saturday at Tulip Hill Winery.  In addition to the gorgeous garden teaming with all kinds of birds, bees and tiny creatures, there was an abundance of fine wine and food.

Out thoughts and prayers are with the Budge’s family & friends as they move forward.  He will be missed.

Another beautiful tribute from the Wine Harlots.

Diane, thank you for sharing your photos of the gardens at Tulip Hill.  Next to the wine we produce, Budge loved his gardens the best!  Your photos show us why.  With much appreciation, L.

Thank you Diane for posting this about Budge. I was fortunate to talk to him at the last Tulip Hill event. Very nice guy and I’m sure he had a lot of things still to accomplish.

Thanks for sharing, Jeff.  It was a case of “gone too soon”.  It was great to spend some time talking about our mutual passion on Saturday.

Thank you for sharing both the gardens and Budge with me.  It was an honor.
