Visiting Langtry

One of the seriously best wins I’ve ever gotten from a silent auction was a tour of Langtry Winery and Vineyards in Middletown.  It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon when we drove up to the winery.  We were greeted by Scott Allen and Cliff Hughes in the tasting room.

After an introductory tasting, we were given a tour of the tasting room and then a tour of the property, including the famous Lilly Langtry home and the hunting lodges on the property.

Our first family portrait was taken at the winery over 15 years ago, and it’s been over 10 years ago since we last visited, so it was a treat to see the property again and all the additions and improvements that have been made.

We left with a gracious invitation to visit again when the wildflowers bloom- and you can be I’ll be there.  Thanks, Scott and Cliff  -it was a wonderful day.
